All of the things I have chosen for the Tell Project comes together because it has helped shape me into who I am today. My grandma has always had the biggest influence on me and she has all the characteristics in what and who I want to be like. She was always there for me when I had a problem and so when she passed, it kind of forced me to be on my own with my siblings. My tattoo symbolizes not just what I went through my freshman year of college but also the struggles I have faced in the past. It is a reminder that I have grown from it all. It is a reminder that I got through it by myself. The last thing is the matching tattoos all my siblings and I want to get. It shows independence and not waiting for other people to hand me flowers but starting to make my own garden, my own life. My siblings will not always be there for me just like my grandma so its time I start decorating my own soul.
